For detailed information please see the relevant sections.
Best regards,

Upgrade jQuery
The jQuery and jQuery-UI libraries were updated to 2.2.4 and 1.12.1 respectively. Please refer to the respective release notes of these libraries for the benefits and possible implications to your custom components.
Autocomplete select component
We improved the user experience of the Autocomplete select components (static, query and REST based). These components filter the list of options based on user input. This behavior caused confusion with end users who wanted to change an existing value. Now, when these components have a value, the button to show the options is replaced by a button to clear the field and show all options. To use the current value as basis for a filtered options list, the user can modify the current value and will be presented with matching options.
Drag-and-Drop for file uploads
Due to irregular browser support, we had disabled drag and drop support for file uploads in 1.5.0.S120.2. We’ve now reenabled this functionality. Users can now drag and drop files onto the upload and attachment components to upload them, or use the component’s file picker.
Multi-word searches
Searching for (Task, Query, Document) Work Objects by name using the autocomplete component did not support multi-word names or names containing double quotes. Both issues have been fixed.
Panel component "collapsed"
The Panel component did not support the "collapsed" attribute, which is present on the Subform component. Both "collapsed" and "collapsed (RT)" have been added.
Hidden components
Form components that were hidden with style class "hidden" or visible=false
still occupied a little bit of space.
Especially when multiple components were hidden in this way, which is common on complex forms, the resulting
empty space became noticeable. This has been fixed.
Stored Query export
While searches worked just fine, stored Queries returned an empty document when exported. This too has been fixed.
Hiding the Actions Menu
The _hideMenuActionsPane
attribute can be used to hide the Actions Menu. There was a bug in the
logic behind this, which meant this did not work on the standard index.html page.
Transactional Redis cache
To fix an issue with Transactionality of the Redis cache we’ve upgraded to spring-data-redis:1.4.4
.
Deprecation warnings
We’ve improved the warnings that were logged at "implicit access" of variables. Whenever a variable is used in an expression that is not explicitly scoped (to self, parent, root, &cetera) but "inherited" from a higher level, there is a log message. Please address these warnings in your solution, as we will remove this in the near future. The benefits are better caching, and more explicit models (that allow for less human errors).
