This document describes the steps needed to upgrade the edoras one application to 1.5.0.S123.
Please stop the edoras one server, perform all upgrade steps described below and then restart the server again at the end.
Elasticsearch synchronization in a cluster
The clustered synchronization support is enabled using the same profile as the Redis cluster-wide
caching (cache-redis
). The existing index configurations are supported without change, so no
upgrade steps are required to use this functionality.
Security fix in CMMN exit handlers
Up to this release, exit handlers of CaseTask, HumanTask and ProcessTask plan items were executed with the privileges of the Case owner. That was an error and not in line with the way other Work Object operations are performed in edoras one.
With this release, the mentioned exit handlers are now executed under the user that triggered the model transition. As a consequence, existing models that relied on the old way of doing it may now have to be adjusted in order to not raise a security exception (by setting the required candidate users or candidate groups on the respective task model elements).
