latestVersionByKey

public static <E extends com.edorasware.commons.core.entity.DomainObjectDefinition<?,?>> List<E> latestVersionByKey(List<E> definitions)

Filters for the latest definition versions. Since each definition deployment now gets its own key, we use the guid property and the creation time to locate the latest version (the key cannot be used in this case). For some definitions the guid is not available, so in this case we fall back to using the key and version number.

E - the definition type

Parameters:

definitions - the definitions to filter for the latest versions

Returns:

the filtered definitions
