Dear customer
In this release we focused on the code hardening. The released functionality improved system logging and introduced the new TenantLookupService
.
On the experimental features field we introduced data model viewer support in vis.
For detailed information please see the relevant sections.
Best regards,
the edorasware team
Improved system logging
The system logging messages produced by edoras one have been improved, removing some clutter and providing better information for operations such as automatic import of Apps. Additional logging is also provided for the initial environment settings:
-
active Spring profiles
-
Spring properties
-
system environment variables
Deployments based on the edoras one bootstrap project may need changes to their logging configuration to benefit from these improvements. Please refer to the upgrade notes for more details.
New TenantLookupService
A new service has been created to allow conversion between tenant IDs and names. The service implements the
interface com.edorasware.one.tenant.TenantLookupService
and is useful for creating better error and log messages
that include tenant information.
Experimental data model viewer support in vis
In vis we have newly introduced data model viewer support. A new Data model viewer (experimental)
tool-bar action is now available in the vis designer view,
clicking on this action opens a dialog that displays variables used in the App along with their scope.
As of now the variables listed in the data model viewer are sourced mainly from the following:
-
Variables declared in the
Initialize variables
service task elements used in process models -
Variables declared in the value attributes of form widgets used in form models
It is not advised to solely rely on the data model viewer information as long as it is in experimental state.
Customizable named validation support in vis palettes
In vis we have newly introduced support for configuring customizable named validations in palettes.
Using named validations, it is now possible to validate attributes at design time using custom java-script functions and/or custom REST end-points.
Refer to the edoras vis supports customizable named validations
section in the on-line documentation for more details.
