Dear customer
In this patch release we fixed several bugs. In most cases, this release is a drop-in replacement of 1.6.0. If either of the following apply, please refer to the upgrade notes:
-
you are using the Elasticsearch integration API
-
you have not explicitly set CMMN Human Task "allowed actions" and rely on the erroneous behavior of the "allowed actions" attribute
For detailed information please see the relevant sections.
Best regards,
the edorasware team
Elasticsearch indexing
We’ve slightly changed the Elasticsearch integration API. Please refer to the upgrade notes.
Various bug fixes
Translations inside panel widget
The Panel widget did not properly support translation (i18n), which we fixed in this release.
"App loaded" event accessible in front end
There is now an event triggered on API initialization called app.loaded
. You can subscribe to that event, from custom.js
like so:
angular.module('one.custom').config(() => { const onAppLoaded = event => window.postMessage(event.type, 'Destination window where you want to send the event');/* event.type === "app.loaded" */ edoras.eventLog.subscribe(onAppLoaded); })
As an example, the above would pass the app.loaded event to a parent window from an iframe using the postMessage()
function.
Return a Promise from edoras.ui.navigate.to methods
Not all methods in edoras.ui.navigate.to
returned a Promise (case()
, task()
, document()
). This has been fixed.
Case preview
The Case Preview feature had an issue that resulted in it not being available to all authorized users.
Initialize variables
Previously, the Initialize Variables Process Task would result in a NullPointerException in case there was no value set by leaving the column empty.
Human Task "allowed actions"
Previously, the CMMN Human Task attribute "allowed actions" was ignored. In this release, we’ve fixed the issue and added an automated data upgrade to migrate running instances. During the first application start up, the system will try to apply an automated data upgrade. In the case of warnings/errors during the upgrade, please fix failed cases manually.
