edoras one - Release Notes

CLD 1.5.0.S57 of edoras one is now available:

In this sprint release, we have added two new forms components. There are now a Inner Frame component and a Create Button component available. We have also improved the content of the tooltips on the List component on the dashboards.

The id of the form to show in a Subform component can now be defined through an expression. This makes working with subforms even more dynamic. For example, a different subform could be displayed depending on the role of the current user.

Creating and editing Case models has become easier and more powerful. At the creation time of a Case model, all possible options can already be configured. Later on, the modifications happen in the Edit View of the model and not through an action anymore. The new behavior is a lot more intuitive and also consistent with the other dashboards. A new option that we have added is to configure the adhoc processes, tasks, and documents that can be created for a running case. Before, all types of processes, tasks, and documents were always selectable.

edoras one has been extended to support automatic export and import of Apps through different channels. For example, each time an App is deployed, it can be automatically written to the filesystem in exploded form. In the other direction, an App modified outside of edoras one can be automatically deployed within edoras one.

The search capabilities of edoras gear and hence of edoras one have been extended to support queries for variable values of type TenantId, GroupId, and UserId.

We have also enhanced edoras gear to improve the start-up time of edoras one when there are a lot of process definitions deployed.

We have also fixed various reported issues and made many small enhancements. For example, there is a new REST end-point to get all users of a given group, a user option has been added to get notified when an unassigned task is created, and long comments are now supported for process tasks.
