Dear customer
This release was planned as code hardening release. Release scope was focused on the automatic transaction proxies removal and CMMN improvements.
For detailed information please see the relevant sections.
Best regards,
the edorasware team
Removal of automatic transaction proxies
In all previous releases, work object service beans were automatically wrapped by a transaction proxy instance. This proxy intercepts incoming service calls and automatically creates a new transaction if required. If the service call throws an exception the proxy will also mark the transaction for rollback.
In this release the automatic transaction proxies have been removed by default as there are some situations where this default behaviour is undesirable. This change will have no effect on the user interface, but some changes may be required in custom application code. For further details please refer to the upgrade notes.
Improved CMMN action button navigation
CMMN action buttons can now not only trigger actions but also navigate to active tasks. Action buttons that are modeled in forms are now able to detect whether there is an active human task associated with them and will, upon clicking, navigate to the task’s work form.
New CMMN service to query plan item properties
The CMMN service bean now exposes the new method getPlanItemProperties
to query a user defined set of plan item properties.
All plan item properties that are accessible via the _planItem
key word in back-end expressions can be selected via
a comma-separated properties list (including nested properties and EL expressions) and will be returned as part of the service method’s result map.
