Dear customer
In this release we focused on fixing several issues, making this a stabilisation release. In addition, we eliminate the possibilities of Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.
For the detailed information see the following chapters.
Best regards,
the edorasware team
Eliminating CSRF attacks
Since 1.5.0.S102 each request which changes state on the backend (PUT, POST) must add a CSRF token to the request parameters or to the cookies. The token is changed after each PUT or POST request and it is sent back to the client as a cookie. This mechanism is the standard procedure for eliminating CSRF attacks.
Advanced HTML content editor support in vis
vis now uses an advanced HTML editor for editing the HTML component
widget’s Content
attribute. The advanced editor supports HTML, JavaScript and Mixed modes along with
features like code-folding, multi-color highlighting, search/replace, etc.
Experimental multi-tab vis designer support
In vis we introduce a more user friendly multi-tab vis designer mode. In this mode multiple models of all supported types can be opened as tabs within a single browser window for modeling. A tab has been provided in the design area to switch between models.
The multi-tab vis designer is currently in experimental state and therefore not enabled by default. In order control its activation, a new configuration property called experimental.vis.editor.multi-tab.enabled
has been introduced (see the upgrade notes).
It is not advised to activate the multi-tab vis designer in production as long as it is in experimental state.
Miscellaneous
Deployment of process models containing message event handlers
In releases 1.5.0.S92 to 1.5.0.S101 process models containing message event handlers could sometimes fail to deploy correctly. This problem has been solved in this release.
Improved CMMN on-part handling
A documentation section was added on the topic of CMMN plan item on-part evaluation logic as implemented in edoras one. Also included in this sprint are improvements in the behaviour of cross-stage plan item on-parts and a couple of bug fixes and performance improvements in the same area. Please refer to the new documentation section 'CMMN Connectors ("on-parts")' for more details.
Archiving of completed CMMN cases
In previous releases, completing a CMMN case model would archive the case work item, including any other child work items that were not already completed or archived by the CMMN model (e.g. documents, manually started processes or ad-hoc tasks). This behaviour has now been changed so that the case will only be archived if there are no tasks or processes running. If a case is not archived due to active child work items then it must now be manually archived when the work items have been processed.
